Let the charm and warmth of Medieval Rye and in particular the Hope Anchor Hotel envelop you this Christmas.
This delightful and unique hilltop town bedecked for the festive season is a sight to see. With its highly individual shops, quirky streets and ancient buildings, Rye is an absolute gem. As one of the Ancient Towns associated with the Cinque Ports it has a great sense of history.
The Hope Anchor Hotel (dating from the early to mid 18th century) has a long association not only with the smugglers of Rye but with the many well-known writers and artists who have lived throughout the centuries in Rye. When you stay at the Hope Anchor you are within minutes walking distance of all the sights and sounds of Rye. St. Mary’s Church, with the famous Quarter Boys and the stunning views from the top of the Church Tower. Lamb House – home to a number of renowned writers closely associated with Rye. The many potteries in Rye of which Rye Pottery is the most famous.
Our restaurant has gained an enviable reputation based on the imaginative use of fresh, seasonally available local fare combined with our Head chefs’ flair and skill. We do hope to have the pleasure of your company during the festive season.

THREE NIGHT CHRISTMAS BREAK
This is from £850.00 per room based on two people sharing –full board (Dinner on Christmas Eve, Breakfast lunch and evening Buffet Christmas day, Breakfast, lunch and dinner Boxing Day and a farewell breakfast before leaving for home) – depending on the type of room. We will require a non-refundable deposit of £100 to secure the booking.

FOUR NIGHT CHRISTMAS BREAK
For those guests travelling just that little bit further. The package is as above and including one more night, dinner, bed and breakfast, with a bottle of house wine, either at the beginning or at the end of your Christmas Break. From £975.00 per room based on two people sharing.
Children under 10 will be charged half price for meals. Extra beds in rooms will be £50.00 per bed per night. (This includes full English Breakfast and VAT.)We will require a non-refundable deposit of £100 to secure the booking.

We have two sittings on Christmas Day, Midday and at 2.30pm Five courses £79.50 per person
We will require a non-refundable deposit of £50 per person.
